TIRANA, Oct 10 /ATA/ President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, emphasized on Thursday in Tirana that “with consultations today, we have further deepened our strategic partnership, which we built in 2021 on this historic, human, and cultural foundation.”

In the joint press conference after the bilateral meeting and the signing of the agreement with Prime Minister Edi Rama for deepening the strategic partnership between Albania and Türkiye, as well as three Memoranda of Understanding, President Erdoğan said that it was an honour to be in Albania, in the friendly and fraternal country. Erdoğan also noted that last year marked the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with Albania.
