TIRANA, October 8 /ATA/ -Prime Minister Edi Rama and Minister of State for Youth and Children Bora Muzhaqi attended an event organized in Tirana on the National Work Internship Program, which for 9 years has been offering opportunities for young people to earn work experience, collaborating with career professionals in the public administration.
The young participants and beneficiaries of the program shared their experiences telling how the National Work Internship Program has influenced their integration into the labor market.
“1300 young people have benefited every year from the National Work Internship program, while 500 of them have become part of the public administration”, Minister Muzhaqi said at the beginning of her speech.
She added that there are about 1200 positions that are available every year. “The program does not require previous experience, nor does it require excellence, although it is a big plus to be excellent”, said Muzhaqi.
“This program is like a springboard to get the necessary experience, either to work in the administration or to continue your career in the private sector, without facing the expression “you are inexperienced”, Minister Muzhaqi said further on.
“There are 9,000 young people who have been part of this program, in total”, she said. /p.s./
