TIRANA, Oct 2 /ATA/Minister of Defence Pirro Vengu attended on Wednesday the Conference hosted by the Association of Foreign Investors in Albania (FIAA).
This conference revolved around the added value of the digital economy and the challenges that the process of technological developments in the security and defence sectors presents.
Vengu stressed that confronting cyber threats has led to public and private sectors coming to a national consensus to strengthen the national capacities.
“The expectation of our citizens is for more innovation and more security in the provision of digital services,” said Vengu.
Vengu added that, in line with the European Union policies in this area, the Albanian government will support digital infrastructure investments and will continue to provide a regulatory framework for foreign investments in the military industry.
