TIRANA, Oct 1 /ATA/ The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, on Tuesday called on citizens to join the opposition in civil disobedience on Monday at 18.00hrs.
In his remarks during the meeting of the Opposition Federation with allies at the Democratic Party headquarters, Noka stated that the opposition has been under relentless aggression for three years.
“We stand here as representatives of the opposition parties in this country, representatives of the opposition people who refuse to be governed by crime, drugs, corruption, and the mafia. We are here to speak on behalf of those citizens who do not subscribe to depopulation and consider it the most anti-national project that has ever been around on this land,” Noka said.
“We are here to stand up to the hordes of power, the organized crime gangs, in the name of the opposition and the citizens of this country to say stop to this regime,” Noka said.
Noka emphasized that the Democratic Party, as the main opposition force, has decided to call on the citizens of this country to come to Tirana on Monday, October 7th, at 6:00 PM to initiate civil disobedience, as the only resort available for this opposition and this people to save Albania.
“This battle is not fought for any particular individual, but for the pluralism that is languishing, for the democracy that is threatened. This battle is for Albania. Albania today is at greater risk than ever. Today, Albania faces a greater danger than under the Bolshevik dictatorship,” Noka said.
Noka stated that the cause of every Albanian today is a technical government, to ensure free elections for every Albanian.
“There is no other way for us, but to rise up against this regime, and we invite all citizens of this country from this joint platform to join us in civil disobedience on Monday at 18.00,” Noka emphasized.
