TIRANA, Sept 25 /ATAThe chairman of the Euro-Atlantic Democrats, Lulzim Basha, said on Wednesday that “Albanian Bektashi have shed blood for the national flag and have made an extraordinary contribution to the National Renaissance and independence of Albania and do not need another state”.
In a televised interview, Basha said that “Rama uses this mockery to distract attention from the main problems Albanians are struggling with.”
“As prime minister of Albania, he is not there to take care of the Bektashi world centre, but to tackle the problems of the country. It proves that he is out of the loop, when it comes to the problems, concerns and desires of Albanians and their children. It is irrelevant to the Bektashi community in the first place. He is making a mockery of the Bektashi because Albanian Bektashi have shed blood for the red flag. They have made an extraordinary contribution to the national renaissance and independence of Albania,” Basha said.
Basha said that “the Bektashis themselves have fought for Albania and for the state of Albania”.
