TIRANA, September 17 /ATA/ Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj received today the Permanent Regional Representative of the International Monetary Fund for the Western Balkans Sebastian Sosa.
Malaj emphasized that cooperation with the IMF remains of special significance in terms of public finances and the reforms that the Albanian Government is implementing.
“We discussed the latest economic developments and expectations for the macroeconomic situation”, said Malaj.
The minister expressed to the representative of the IMF Sosa the commitment of the Ministry of Finance to continue the work for fiscal consolidation and address common challenges. /p.s./
