TIRANA, September 11/ATA/ During the second quarter of 2024, the average gross monthly wage per employee in Albania is 75,114 ALL, showing an increase by 5.9 % compared to the same quarter in the last year.
INSTAT published the report on wages in the country, according to which the economic activities that offer an average gross monthly wage higher than the national average wage, are financial and insurance activities and information and communication.
Compared with the same quarter of last year during the second quarter of 2024, the average gross wage for the activity group of Financial and insurance activities, has the largest increase of 11.4 %, while the smallest increase has the activity group Public administration and defence; compulsory social security; education; human health and social work activities by 3 %.
During the second quarter of 2024, the average gross monthly wage for an employee in a group of Managers, Lawmakers, Senior civil servants and Executive directors and Professionals offer the highest average gross monthly wage, compared to the national average in national level. /p.s./
