TIRANA, September 1 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama chairs today an extended meeting with members of the government cabinet and heads of affiliated bodies in Dajt Mount.
Also present at the meeting are the chairpersons of the Parliamentary committees, Speaker of the Assembly, Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, the chairperson of the Parliamentary group in the SP, as well as directors of the affiliated institutions to the government.
Media sources reported that the meeting will be held behind closed doors and starts at 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
During the meeting, there are expected to be discussed preparations for the new Parliamentary session, but also strategies for the upcoming election year.
The focus of the meeting is expected to be the analysis of the work done so far and the setting of objectives for the coming months.
While on September 8, there will gather the Assembly of the ruling Socialist Party during which there is expected a deep overhaul of the party’s structures, including the configuration of the SP Leading Board, Secretariats and socialist political leaders of the regions.
During this process, there will be determined the party’s action plan for the coming years and there will be given a clearer picture of the electoral strategies and internal organization of the SP./m.m/r.e/p.s./
