TIRANA, Aug 29 /ATA/ Lending to economy reached ALL 798.3 billion at the end of July this year according to data from the Bank of Albania.
According to BoA, compared to June, lending increased 0.3%, with an additional 2.3 billion ALL.
On an annual basis (July 2023- July 2024), this year loan is 13.3% higher, with an additional amount of approximately 93 billion ALL or about 900 million euros. This increase is mainly attributable to the expansion of lending to other “Financial Corporations.”.
On the other hand, business credit has also marked a slight improvement. From ALL 447.3 billion in June, it increased ALL 99 million in July, reaching about ALL 447.4 billion.
Compared to the same period last year, business credit has increased by about 12.9%.
