TIRANA, August 28/ATA/ Tirana International Airport (TIA) called on passengers to arrive at the airport at least 3 hours before the flight time.
According to TIA, this is due to the high flow of passengers during this summer season.
“To avoid the last minute rush and to ensure that you have enough time for check-in and security, we recommend that you arrive at the airport at least 3 (three) hours before your flight time,” it is read in a post on TIA’s social networks.
TIA also asked passengers to print their boarding pass. “This will save you time and ensure a smooth process through airport checkpoints. Otherwise, you will have to wait for the opening of the check-in desk, to be equipped with a boarding pass”, advised TIA.
For passengers with luggage, TIA advised passengers to inform themselves at the check-in desk, which usually opens 2 hours and 30 minutes before departure. At the same time, TIA asked passengers to be updated with any announcements that come to you from the airline regarding your flight.
