TIRANA, Aug 24 /ATA/ Thethi, the mountainous village in the heart of the Albanian Alps has become one of the most visited destinations by local and foreign tourists in every season of the year.
Located in the centre of the National Park, Thethi is surrounded by enchanting natural beauty and lies among the steep peaks from where the River of Shala originates.
Prime Minister Edi Rama posted on social media today photos from Thethi as an invitation to explore it in these scorching summer days.
Projects for Theth as an up and coming European tourist destination, along with the property titles for houses and guesthouses, as well as a series of measures included in the mountain package, which is in the pipeline and towards completion, are part of the government’s objective for sustainable development of this northern area, striking a balance between nature, tourism development, economy, culture and community.
The Government has recently presented the project for “Theth of Tomorrow”, which in harmony with all other elements, will prompt many migrants from these areas to return to invest in agrI-tourism and guesthouses.
