TIRANA, Aug 6 /ATA/ Thanks to the incentives introduced by the government, farmers in different regions of the country have increased the areas cultivated with nuts.
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, on Tuesday shared on his social media account images from Astrit Taka’s farm in the picturesque village of Kalivac, Tepelena, where the hazelnut harvest has started.
The growing of hazelnut trees, Denaj said, “besides ensuring a good source of food, guarantees a stable income for rural families”.
The minister appreciated the dedication and hard work of farmers who contribute to a prosperous and sustainable future of agriculture.
“Every fruit of the earth brings well-being and prosperity”, said Denaj.
