TIRANA, July 16 /ATA/ Customs authority employees at the border crossing points Muriqan and Hani i Hotit are working apace to efficiently handle the passenger influx at the peak of the tourist season.
The General Directorate of Customs announced that over 20,000 citizens have passed through the customs border point of Muriqani in the last 24 hours alone.
The authorities in the country have announced that they have taken measures to cope with the growing flow of tourists arriving in the country. This year, according to them, more than 14 million tourists are expected to arrive, while last year more than 10.1 million tourists visited the country.
