TIRANA, July 14 /ATA/ Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja announced on Sunday that the application for the unemployment allowance is now possible through the e-Albania platform.
In a post on social media, Gonxhja emphasized that the application is made without any accompanying documentation, while the necessary time to receive the service is 7 days.
The labor office where the citizen has the civil status informs through the e-Albania account and e-mail about the status of the request.
Electronic service: application for the entitlement to unemployment allowance, dedicated to all persons left out of work due to layoffs, company restructuring or other reasons beyond their control.
In the fourth quarter of 2023, the official unemployment rate in Albania, for the population aged 15 and over, was 10.7%.
The number of total unemployed decreased by 1.2%, compared to the same quarter of 2022, and increased by 0.2%, compared to the previous quarter.
