TIRANA, July 9 /ATA/ – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku, attended the High-Level Conference on Cyber Security in the Western Balkans on Tuesday, highlighting Albania’s progress in digitalization amidst ongoing challenges posed by cyber threats.

The Deputy PM emphasized that Albanian government has attached special focus on digitalization and cybersecurity as a top national priority in a bid to deliver safe public services to individuals and businesses.

The conference, attended by representatives from across the Western Balkans, emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between public and private sectors, governance, and the European Union in tackling cyber threats. Balluku emphasized the need for such forums to receive governmental support and legislative backing, emphasizing coordinated action across sectors to strengthen cyber security measures.
