TIRANA, July 7 /ATA/ –  The Shala River natural park, another fabulous destination in Albania’s north, is becoming an important destination on the itinerary of local and international tourists as it is particularly attracting visitors’ attention for its pristine nature and for the opportunities it offers.

Prime Minister Edi Rama on Sunday shared images of a large number of holidaymakers and visitors bathing along and exploring the stunning natural beauty of the Shala River over this weekend.

The river has been recently included on the map and destinations of the tour and travel agencies and a growing number of international tourists are visiting the area, describing it as Albania’s Thailand.

For everyone to visit the area, the boat voyage from Koman Lake lasts 1.2 hours.

Shala River is definitely one of the most beautiful destinations in Albania’s northern Alps. Reachable only by boat and surrounded by mountains, this river is a perfect getaway for the nature lovers and adventure tourism enthusiasts.
