TIRANA, June 6 /ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, in a post on social media, recalling the discussion table about the economic program of the DP with experts, emphasized that the program is a turning point for the country’s economy.
Basha underlined that the reinstatement of the flat tax will bring a breath of fresh air for business.
“I listened very carefully to the discussion of prof. dr. Zef Preçit, expert in the field of economics, head of ACER, the first Albanian non-profit and non-governmental organization. I share the idea that competition, which is the engine of the market economy and the first victim of misgovernment, causing business closures, poverty and emigration of young people, must be supported by all means,” said Basha.
“Therefore, the program of the Democratic Party marks a turning point for the economy. We will breathe life into entrepreneurship through our proposals, which guarantee good governance and 9% flat tax, which reduces informality and ensures significant economic growth for every Albanian family,” Basha said.
“The Albanian economy deserves more and we are working to achieve this”, underlined Basha.
