TIRANA, June 5 /ATA/ – The Democratic Party chairman Lulzim Basha recalled his party’s “Albania Deserves More” platform he presented last week, vowing to tackle “the country’s deep-seated corruption problem.”
In a social media post, Basha underlined that as many as 100 experts have been employed to draft the main opposition party’s program ahead of next year’s parliamentary elections, prioritizing the fight against corruption and improvement of the governance.
DP chairman claims that his party’s commitment to transparency and accountability will be a significant departure from the current government’s opaque practices.
“Only a program that clearly prioritizes the citizens’ services, a program that facilitates public access to the administration, making life easier for the citizens, is what this country needs most,” Basha said.
