TIRANA, May 30 /ATA/ The safety of citizens and tourists who are visiting Albania every day is and will remain a priority in the daily work of the State Police.
In a post on social media, Interior Minister Taulant Balla emphasized that powerful people should not regard themselves above law and citizens.
“No way will the powerful people stand above the law and citizens, and no one can be stronger than the white of the road lines or the red of the traffic lights. The increased number of checks, investigations and crackdowns on individuals and criminal groups by the State Police, SPAK, etc., is creating more security for citizens and the countless tourists who visit Albania,” Balla said.
Minister Balla congratulated the local police directorate of Tirana, Shkodër, Korçë, Vlorë, Fier and Durrës for the operations of the last 24 hours.
