Motivation plan for administration, Pirdeni: Salary increase to be concluded in July

TIRANA, May 29 /ATA/ Flexibility in working schedules and lifting restrictions on annual leave of not less than one week were two of the items on the Public Administration Motivation plan, part of Albania 2030 challenge for EU membership and the qualitative increase of the capacities of the Albanian state to serve the interests of the country and its citizens, presented on Wednesday in an extended meeting by the Minister of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption, Adea Pirdeni.

In her remarks at the meeting with the administration with the participation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, Pirdeni emphasized that the largest salary increase for the public administration, a plan started a year ago, will be concluded in July. In the meantime, she added, there will be some other changes regarding the work schedule or the usual leave.

“High on the list of your requests is flexibility in working hours. Within the year, we will enable employees to start working hours according to the family agenda. They can start the day earlier and end it earlier, start it later and end it later”, Pirdeni added.

She added that the leadership academy starts from June. Pirdeni also said that in partnership with the EU, they are working on the plan for evaluation plan of the administration employees.
