TIRANA, May 23 /ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, on Thursday continued the discussions with the working groups for the governing program of the Democratic Party.
Basha emphasized that corruption is the biggest impediment to the development of the country and the creation of opportunities for young people to build their lives in Albania.
Therefore, he underlined, “the fight against corruption, support for justice, transparency and accountability in governance are the highlight of our program.”
“The time when the government encourages and supports corruption is over. Corruption is not fought by means of resolutions at the end of the term of office, and even less by trying to control justice, but with clear plans and political will,” Basha said.
