TIRANA, May 21/ATA/ On the threshold of the summer tourist season, the General Directorate of Transport Services has made available for travelers the “etransport” platform, through which they can be oriented to move faster throughout the country.
Travelers can download the app on their phones and get information about intercity road transport to their destinations.
They can also receive guide information at ports, airports and main points of arrival for citizens and tourists.
Head of the General Directorate of Transport Services Ilir Mëngra gave the news to ATA.
“Welcome to Albania! We are close to every citizen to provide information about intercity road transport to your favorite destinations. With just one click on our platform https://www.etransport.al/, you can find your route, station location, departure and arrival times, as well as operator contacts. Download the app on Play Store and App Store. Let’s make your journey easier and safer together”, Mëngra added in a post in the social media.
According to him, this is a new guide experience on the network of the intercity lines.
“Transportation between cities is now easier than ever. We bring a new guide experience on the network of intercity lines, while preparing to introduce electronic tickets. We encourage public transport as an excellent alternative for tourism and movement around Albania.
