TIRANA, May 14 /ATA/ The Independent Qualification Commission reported today that after reviewing the documentation and conducting the hearing, it decided to dismiss from office the re-evaluation subject, Petref Asllani, prosecutor in the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of the First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction. Asllani had problems with the wealth criteria.
According to the announcement of the Commission, “The decision, in writing, by the judicial body chaired by Mr. Olsi Komici, Mrs. Firdes Shuli, relator, Mrs. Valbona Sanxhaktari member will be notified to the re-evaluation subject, the Public Commissioner and the international observers within 30 days.
This decision can be appealed to the Special Appellate College by the subject of re-evaluation and/or the Public Commissioner 15 days from the date of notification of the Commission’s decision. The appeal is filed with the Independent Qualification Commission. This decision was announced today, on 14.5.2024”./a.f/r.e/p.s./
