TIRANA, April 30 /ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, said on Tuesday in a televised interview that he encourages SPAK to do its job in solving corruption cases.
I encourage SPAK to do its job in solving the corruption files. Is it possible that senior level directors of the municipality are involved in a corruption scheme and the mayor is oblivious to all this, Basha said referring to the arrest of some former directors of this institution.
“I encourage and support justice in all forms and ways to do its job, not to become complacent with those caught in the act, but also to establish the high legal and criminal responsibility in this case, which should be sought from Erion Veliaj in the Municipality of Tirana and Edi Rama in the Albanian government”, said Basha Basha .
The head of the DP also focused on the judicial problems this party has been fraught with in recent years.
“The soap opera on the seal was made up by actors who are interested in diverting attention from the real issues of the country, the real problems. The seal has always been in the Democratic Party. And it will remain in DP”, said Basha.
