TIRANA, April 15 /ATA/ Austria will be an important strategic partner in development of Albanian agricultural sector, an assurance that Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Anila Denaj received during the meeting in Vienna with Minister of Agriculture of Austria, Norbert Totsxing.
Denaj assessed that “on Albania’s journey towards the EU, cooperation with European partners and benefiting their assistance in the approximation process is very important for our country.”
The minister announced that during the meeting both parties agreed to increase cooperation in sectors such as elite agri-tourism, organic agriculture and vocational education.
“Albania will benefit from the Austrian experience at the level of vocational secondary schools, aiming to improve the quality of training in agriculture, for more specialized experts and prepared to navigate challenges of the agricultural sector in the future,” Denaj said.
