TIRANA, April 11 /ATA/ The chairman of the Democratic Party parliamentary group, Gazment Bardhi, reacted on Thursday after the Assembly’s vote against sending the mandate of the Socialist Party MP, Olta Xhaçka, for adjudication in the Constitutional Court.
In a media statement after the plenary session, Bardhi said that this is a sad day for Albania.
According to him, “Rama sent the message to SPAK today not to touch Olta Xhaçka case.”
“We should make a decision if we have to turn to the Constitutional Court. As of today, I do not understand what the members of the Constitutional Court will be paid for. Every court decision, including the high and constitutional court decision, which harms the personal interest of Rama or his collaborators, has no value, it is torn in the eyes of every citizen. The Constitutional Court was annihilated through the vote of the SP in the Assembly”, he said.
