TIRANA, April 8 /ATA/ Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Anila Denaj, was in Vlora where she visited dairy farms in Selenica and Bunavi.
During the conversation with the livestock farmers, Denaj emphasized that “formalization through contracts in the relationship between livestock farmers and collection points is the only way to guarantee a secure market and with balanced prices.”
Denaj said that “our analysis has shown that if you produce the raw material of feed yourself, the cost is reduced by 50%. Success in livestock farming and agriculture consists in what it produces itself, because profit for us is cost reduction.”
