TIRANA, March 21 /ATA/ Delina Ibrahimaj, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Protection and Business Climate, said that “The Normative Act we are discussing today is the most important act of the government as revenues and expenses have increased, public debt has declined, the deficit has fallen and all macro-fiscal parameters guarantee sustainability of public finances.”
In her remarks at the plenary session, Ibrahimaj said that the upward trend of economy is attributed to the reforms launched by the Rama government. She added that economic growth has exceeded the forecasts of the government and international institutions for years.
“The Normative Act benefits the economic climate. Meanwhile one of the main pillars where we have concentrated our work during 2024 is the strengthening of human capital. Specifically, it supports the new Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation, the promotion and development of tourism by supporting the establishment of the Taskforce for the protection of bathing waters to make sure that Albania offers a quality tourist product, guaranteeing the expansion of the Albanian tourist offer. It also supports the development of infrastructure as a key element for economic development”, said Ibrahimaj.
She emphasized that the budget being reallocated for the new commercial port of Durrës is a budget of strategic importance for the economic development of our country, as it is a major project that will make Albania the main gateway to the countries of the Western Balkans and beyond.
