TIRANA, Feb 15 /ATA/ – The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated Thursday that the United States of America highly value the relations with Albania.
The visiting US Secretary also praised Prime Minister Edi Rama’s leadership as “an extraordinary partner of the United States.”
“Dear Edi! I would like to thank you for the hospitality, the substance and our straightforward and frank conversation,” he said at the joint press conference with PM Rama.
“I am on my first visit as Secretary of State to Albania, because partnership between our two countries is stronger than ever before. Our relation with Albania is for us is actually critical to address some issues that are crucial for our countries, and this is a two-way street and we are doing things with each other and for each other, so that the people benefit the Albanian and the US, that is, in order to benefit both our peoples,” State Secretary Blinken said.
