TIRANA, February 12/ATA/ The Ministry of Education and Sports has decided to take concrete steps to improve the academic offer and capacities at the University of Korça, aiming to profile this university.
Minister Ogerta Manastirliu made the statement while being at the premises of the University of Korça with the academic staff.
Manastirliu said that these are the steps of a strategic plan for development of the university, which aims not only to increase the academic and scientific quality, but also to integrate the regional development and socio-economic perspectives of Korça and the surrounding areas.
This plan will include concrete steps for improving the study program, adapting the academic offer to market demands and regional development, as well as developing the university’s academic, research and infrastructural capacities.
The minister also visited the University Library, where the project for the digitization of the “Fan S. Noli” University Library fund has just been completed, a project financed by the Ministry of Education and Sports and the National Agency for Scientific Research and Innovation./r.e /p.s./
