Rama: Another pay raise in store for public administration this year

TIRANA, Feb 9 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated on Friday that the government, after the pay raise a year ago, will continue to increase salaries even this year for the public administration.

At the conference on the energizing the public administration with the aim of enhancing the professionalism and performance by strengthening good governance, the rule of law and anti-corruption, Prime Minister Rama said that there are many aspects that need to be combined to guarantee the well-being of the administration so that every employee in the administration is motivated to do the job properly.

“Being in charge, we need to devote much more today to the well-being and state of mind of the administration. We have increased and will increase salaries again this year. It’s not just the salaries, but there are many other aspects that must definitely come together to guarantee this well-being, so that the administration and every employee in the administration is all the more motivated to do the job properly,” said Rama.

Rama emphasized that Albania can rely on the public administration and that Albania can achieve the goal of membership faster than all others, thanks to this administration.

“The fact that the process of scanning Albania, through 777 presentations delivered by the entire body of the Albanian state system in Brussels, ended quickly, with quality and with so much surprise in Brussels at the performance of the Albanian national team, is the greatest certainty and the most indisputable fact that today there is all the more reason to believe that Albania can count on this administration to achieve the goal of membership, faster than all the others,” Rama said.
