TIRANA, December 9 /ATA/ Interior Minister Taulant Balla, together with the new head of the National Territory Protection Inspectorate Ervin Hoxha, closely inspected the works for the demolition of several buildings without permission, which pave the way for the continuation of the works on the Big Ring Road of Tirana, in the area of Shkoza crossing.
The minister stated that the Inspectorate must guarantee the prevention of any form of construction without permission and above all the criminal punishment of offenders.
“The new approach, with the support of the State Police, is about prevention. Every construction without permission must be reported. New technologies, satellite images, drones will be used to control the territory, not only the inspectors”, said the minister.
“Today, we begin the demolition of the first 23 buildings, there are 7 more, 120 in total to be demolished along the Big Ring Road throughout December”, informed Chief Inspector Hoxha.
Balla said that the environment must be protected and Albania kept clean. /p.s./
