TIRANA, December 3 /ATA/ The State Police finalized 104 operations during November arresting 700 citizens for various criminal offences.
In the balance-sheet of the work, the Police underlines the multidimensional engagement of all structures in the service of citizens and in the interest of the country’s image.
“Having as motivation this commitment, as well as the work, reliability and integrity demonstrated for the finalization of international operations, the Albanian State Police won the “Excellence 2023″ award, as the best international partner of the British counterparts, in a competition among 64 police agencies from all over the world”, is read in the Police press release.
During this month, there were seized 124 kilograms of cannabis, 24 weapons, smuggled goods worth about 52,000 euros, as well as property worth 1.2 million euros; about 142,000 euros profited from thefts and other criminal activities.
In November, there were also held the dynamic mega-operations “Temple” and “Rule of Law” during which there were arrested drug dealers, wanted citizens, possessors of weapons for criminal purposes and perpetrators of other crimes. /m.m/p.s./
