TIRANA, November 15/ATA/ The 2024 budget will financially support 717,730 pensioners through pension indexation scheme and year-end bonus.
Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today that it is a fund of 250 million Euros that goes to pensioners in the draft budget of 2024.
Earlier, PM Rama stated that Albania has a very high number of pensioners if compared to the number of state employees and therefore the increase in pensions is slower.
“If there is a gaping hole that we have not closed yet, it is precisely that created over many years by the lack of social contributions”, he said./m.m/p.s./
