TIRANA, Oct 15 /ATA/ President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen after arriving in Tirana headed to the President’s office where she was received by the Head of State, Bajram Begaj.
President of the EC was accompanied by the charge d’affaires at the EU Delegation in Tirana, Luigi Soreca, while at the “Mother Teresa” Airport she was received by Minister for Relations with the Parliament, Elisa Spiropali.
After the meeting at the President’s office, Von Der Leyen is scheduled to head to the Prime Minister’s Office where he will meet Prime Minister Edi Rama and with whom she is expected to appear a press conference.
President of the European Commission, Ursula Von Der Leyen, has arrived in Tirana on Sunday afternoon. She will participate on Monday in the Berlin Process Summit, which will be held in the capital of Albania, also the first high-level meeting outside the borders of the European Union.
