TIRANA, October 12/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that official Belgrade bears a great responsibility for the event in the north of Kosovo.
During the debate motion in the Assembly, Rama said that official Belgrade did not condemn the aggression and even covered it with the flag of mourning. And it did not immediately announce the opening of an investigation together with all the relevant forces involved in the normalization process.
“The self-weakened diplomatic position of Kosovo in the eyes of the EU and the USA, as well as the diplomatic self-victimization of Serbia in the international eyes and thanks to the political gifts generously received in the mistakes of Prishtina, make it difficult our effort” , Rama said.
The prime minister emphasized that Albania has continued this effort in every possible instance.
“We did this recently at the summit of the European Political Community where, together with the president of Kosovo, we talked with the political actors present about the need for an adequate stance of the EU towards this dangerous escalation”, said Rama./p.s./
