TIRANA, Oct 2 /ATA/ In light of the meetings, which will be held in all schools countrywide, the Minister of Interior, Taulant Balla, stopped in Rrogozhina, together with representatives of the local government and the Police.
During the conversation with the educational staffers of some of the reconstructed schools in the city and, among other things, the minister appealed for a closer cooperation with the Police to report any concerns and phenomena that threaten the safety of schoolers.
Speaking about the School Security Package, Minister Balla said that “safety at schools is of high importance and anyone who tries to approach within this perimeter must ask himself many times, because they will face the consequences. In the first days of the new school year, we have planned a number of police interventions to set up this impenetrable security perimeter.”
Further, the minister showed interest in cooperation of educational staff with state authority.
He said that it is important for the security form to become a practice.
“Through this form, we have the opportunity to start tracking or predicting certain incidents or even tracking any potential criminal activity around the school, which in the daily eyes of the Police is not visible, but through this information received from you we have the opportunity to start investigations”, said Balla.
