TIRANA, September 22/ATA/ The second international conference on Water Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development (WEPSD) started at the Academy of Sciences of Albania.
The conference will take place in two days, September 22-23, 2023, in the “Aleks Buda” hall and the “Academics” hall.
Attending are researchers, lecturers, students of various profiles, who have water as the objective of their study of water, aquatic ecosystems, their sustainable management in the conditions of climate change, as well as representatives of public and private institutions operating in this field.
Among them are 12 foreign lecturers from France, Italy, Germany, Turkey, Israel, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia. They will be financially supported by COST Action, while other applicants continue to join the group.
The conference aims to provide the opportunity for researchers and lecturers from universities, institutions, businesses, public and private agencies to share and discuss practices, innovations, research initiatives and issues related to the protection of the aquatic environment and its sustainable development.
The Draft Conference Program includes 78 scientific presentations, of which 43 are by foreign authors./p.s./
