TIRANA, September 19 /ATA/ In context of the High-Level Week of the UN General Assembly, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Igli Hasani participated in the working breakfast organized by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy Antonio Tajani with Foreign Ministers of the Western Balkans and those of Croatia and Slovenia.
Hasani praised the proactive role of Italy, Croatia and Slovenia in the integration process of the Western Balkans while he reiterated that Albania will do its best to fulfill all the requirements that will pave the way for an accelerated integration perspective.
The Albanian chief diplomat also held bilateral meetings with the Foreign Ministers of the United Arab Emirates, Great Britain, Estonia, and Egypt and discussed issues of bilateral, regional and global relations.
On September 20, Prime Minister Edi Rama will chair the High-Level meeting of the SC on Ukraine in the framework of the Albanian Presidency of the Security Council. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and about 50 heads of state have confirmed their participation./p.s./
