TIRANA, September 14 /ATA/ Starting from October 1 of this year, the government will index pensions by 8.6%.
The legislator of the ruling Socialist Party Erion Braçe took the floor in the Assembly and said that, “Beginning from October 1, the entire mass of pensioners in Albania will receive an increase in their pension by 8.6%”.
He emphasized that this increase fully covers the rate of inflation and that it will bring 3.2 million ALL more for the pensioners in the next 3 months.
In support of the law “On social insurance in the Republic of Albania”, amended, by proposal of Minister of Finance and Economy, the government approved in July the indexation coefficient of the estimated base of 2021 for the calculation of pensions./j.p/p.s./
