TIRANA, September 11/ATA/ Minister of the Interior Taulant Balla expressed in the social media his concern about the fire situation in the area of Finiq, Saranda.
According to him, the situation is difficult while there are made efforts in several directions.
“Fires in the country. In the Municipality of Saranda in the area of Finiq, there is a difficult situation. The firefighter forces, as well as the Armed Forces through a helicopter, are making efforts in several directions to protect the houses”, emphasized Balla.
Meanwhile, Vlora police reported that they have identified and declared wanted the perpetrator who set fire to his own land in Finiq, but the flames spread, covering a very large area and as a result, 3 houses were partially burnt while several others were endangered.
The police clarified that, “Thanks to police intelligence and quick actions at the scene, the police identified and declared wanted the 36-year-old arsonist”. /r.e/p.s./
