TIRANA, September 1/ATA/ During a gathering for the presentation of the new security plan in schools, Interior Minister Taulant Balla assured parents that this year they should feel safer than ever for their children during the teaching process.
According to Balla, no one should dare to commit illegal actions in the security perimeter of schools.
“Our ministries, that of Education and Sports, and the Ministry of the Interior have a direct role and at the same time a great responsibility in guaranteeing the smooth running of the new school year, both in terms of education, as well as in terms of responsibility and public safety”, said Balla.
“The State Police has the task of guaranteeing public safety in all its forms. When parents, grandparents take their children to school, they entrust their children to the state. This applies to all private or public institutions, wherever they are registered. When they deliver their children to the door of the school, parents should feel more sure than last year that no problem, no bad thing can happen to them, not only inside, but also around the school grounds, where they naturally spend a long time and after school hours”, continued Balla.
“Together with my colleague Minister Kushi, we want to convey a very clear message: No one should dare to commit illegal actions within the security perimeter of schools. In this context, we would like to announce today a new package of measures for security in our pre-university education schools”, underlined Balla. /p.s./
