TIRANA, August 26 /ATA/ The e-Transport platform offers real-time information for travelers, whether they are Albanians or foreigners.
Prime Minister Edi Rama shared today in social media an informative video about this platform, which makes transportation easier in every corner of the country.
“You can find out online the route, the location of the station, the departure and arrival times as well as the contacts of the operators”, wrote Rama.
According to the prime minister, guide information is provided at ports, airports and main points of arrival for citizens and tourists.
As a project initiated by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Energy and General Directorate of Road Transport Services, in cooperation with the National Agency of Information Society, e-Transport will create a new standard of travel experience with intercity transport lines.
The citizens will have the opportunity to buy tickets online through the phone with a QR code, see the location of the stations, timetables, the crossing of the lines.
On the other hand, the intercity transport market will use the platform to monitor its resources on the ground, to apply online for company licensing and vehicle certification.
The platform formalizes the transport market and increases the quality of service for citizens. /m.m/p.s./
