Spiropali: Albania, unwavering commitment to support Ukraine more

TIRANA, August 23 /ATA/ Minister of State for Relations with the Parliament Elisa Spiropali participated today in the Third Summit of the Crimean Platform, organized by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

Spiropali stressed that, “Russia’s brutal aggression against Ukraine remains the main threat to peace and security in Europe and beyond”.

“It constitutes an open destruction of the fundamental principles enshrined in the UN Charter and a flagrant violation of international law. The shocking accounts of atrocities and violations of human rights in Crimea and everywhere in the occupied territories are clear evidence that the occupying regimes are a reflection of totalitarian and anti-democratic systems,” said the minister.

Following this, Spiropali highlighted that Albania remains steadfast in its commitment to further increase political and practical support for Ukraine as it continues to defend its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity. /p.s./
