TIRANA, Aug 15 /ATA/ – The Minister of Finance and Economy Delina Ibrahimaj announced that Tuesday a decision to increase maximum monthly wage for social and health insurance contributions effect has entered into force on Tuesday.
The minimum wage is used in determining the minimum and maximum basis for social and health insurance contributions.
Considering the increase in the minimum wage, the minimum basis is increased by 17.64% to 40,000 lek.
Informing about the legal changes, the Finance and Economy Minister said that maximum wage is increased to 176, 416 lek a month.
