TIRANA, July 24/ATA/ In the local foreign currency exchange market, on Monday, the foreign currencies strengthened their positions in relation to the Lek, compared to the weekend.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the US dollar strengthened by 0.45 Lekë and is exchanged at 91.15 Lekë, while the euro rose to the rate of 101.07 Lekë, or 0.14 Lekë more than on Saturday.
The positions of the British pound have also strengthened with 0.36 Lekë. The British currency is exchanged at 117.01 Lekë, while the Swiss franc depreciated by 0.64 Lekë and is exchanged at 105.30 Lekë.
Today, other currencies have also increased in value in their exchange with the Lek.
