TIRANA, July 18 /ATA/ The mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, has made his first visit as mayor to Kosovo, precisely to the city of Prizren.
Beci announced that the purpose of this visit was to establish closer cooperation between the two Albanian cities, which have historically been bound by patriotism, traditions, culture, and art.
Mayor Beci, accompanied by the ambassador of Albania in Kosovo, Qemal Minxhozi, was received at the meeting by the mayor of Shaqir Totaj and other local government representatives.
During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of cooperation in several areas of common interest, such as economy, tourism, culture and sport, as well as the intensification of meetings between the parties in order to put together and implement joint projects.
