TIRANA, June 25 /ATA/ Albania and Spain have significantly increased trade cooperation. The commercial exchanges between Albania and Spain are reckoned during the first 5 months of this year at around 13.2 billion ALL, from 7.8 billion ALL in the same period of 2022.
Exports of commodities to Spain during the 5 months of this year increased by more than 3 times, reaching a value of over 7.7 billion ALL.
Referring to the data published by the Institute of Statistics (INSTAT), the report on foreign trade for the period January-May indicates that the group of minerals, fuel and electricity accounts for almost 90% of the total volume of exports.
The value of commodities imported from Spain during the January-May period is reckoned at 5.4 billion ALL from the 5.5 billion ALL imported in the same period of 2022.
