PRISTINA, June 9 /ATA/ – Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti blamed Friday Serbia’s destructive behaviour as the main cause for the stalemate in implementation of the Agreement on the path to normalisation between the two countries.
Addressing the conference “European Croatia: Retrospective & Prospective” in Dubrovnik, Kurti put emphasis on the need for full and unconditional implementation of the framework normalisation agreement and its annex.
“As far as the relations with Serbia are concerned, PM Kurti noted that Kosovo and Serbia have already agreed on an agreement on the de facto mutual recognition, a great achievement of the European Union, but which is not being implemented on the ground due to Serbia’s destructive behaviour. He underlined importance and the need for full and unconditional implementation of the framework normalisation agreement and its annex,” Kosovo government said in a press release.
Kosovo and Serbia reached a framework agreement on February 27 in Brussels and agreed on its implementation annex on March 18 in Ohrid, North Macedonia.
