TIRANA, June 9 /ATA/- The Municipality of Tirana extended yesterday the title “Gratitude of the City” to the three well-known constitutionalists, Prof. Dr. Luan Omari, Prof. Dr. Ismet Elezi and Lawyer Niazi Jaho, in a special ceremony, where there was highlighted their contribution for many years in this field.
Mayor Erion Veliaj expressed his gratitude for their outstanding contribution.
He added that names like Niazi Jaho, Luan Omari and Ismet Elezi are figures worthy of the respect of the one million city of Tirana.
MP Fatmir Xhafaj, former Minister of Justice, highly appreciated the contribution of three personalities and said that they, with their work, have served the generations, justice and the country.
Even Prof. Dr. Luan Omari and the well-known lawyer Niazi Jaho expressed their gratitude for this evaluation.
The title “Gratitude of the City of Tirana” was given to three well-known academic figures for their outstanding academic contribution to the enrichment of legal thought, in the field of scientific research, in the constitutional issues of the rule of law, in the development of higher legal education, for preparing many generations of lawyers and young professionals, strengthening and consolidating the rule of law, reforming the justice system in Albania as well as promoting the best values in the city community./p.s./
